Literacy is a basic of all human rights. Literacy is directly connected to communication. Reading, writing and speaking is one of a ways to communicate effectively and for people to become more civilized is through better communication. Humans are communicating animal. Humans are enabling to express their feelings through language and gesture. Also, through communication people understand each other and share ideas to broaden their knowledge. If one is illiterate, they have lost a tool that distinguishes human from other animals. If people are illiterate it just can’t make that country like more civilized and advanced.
Because many of the third world countries are in Asia and many of Asian countries have numerous number of dialects of one language. It is even more important for Asian countries to be aware of literacy because they can grow stronger economically and educationally.
In ??? China and Phillipines kids have to sail their big bowl-like baskets to cross the river to thei

In addition to the factors of poverty and neglect by the government, lack of education is an additional contributing factor to continued child labor in Pakistan. Less education generally leads to lower paying jobs and Pakistan’s literacy rate in 2007 stood at 56% of the population. With 44% of the population over the age of 10 being illiterate and over 70% being below the poverty line, this leaves more than 40 million parents and their children susceptible to the general challenges of child labor and exploitation. This is why to today an estimate 1.2 million children under the age of 15 work in the carpet and rug industry in Pakistan today.
__The Issue__
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlJzXi4W8Ew
__The Solution__
One way to eradicate child labor is to boycott items made by child labor. This boycott might focus first on the industries in which child labor is the most prevalent. As you can see, human trafficking comes from corruption. So to eliminate human trafficking, the first and foremost problem that has to be solved is corruption that exists within the state’s government and even between national borders.
SOLUTION:
corruption. To
To destroy corruption, laws and rules have to become stricter. Whenever there are corruption officials, none of the others should accept bribes. If they do though, they should receive dire consequences or punishments. With the laws tighter, more safety regulations and policies should be set up and toughened. For example, national security guards should be standing on every possible national border to check on immigrants to avoid illegal immigrants and people smuggling. Although human trafficking does seem like a problem that requires much effort, diligence, time, and money, it is worth it. We cannot stand idle while 600,000~ 800,000 people are being smuggled. With these solutions in mind, we hope that everyone would con

Large numbers of the North Korean population are reported to be malnourished, out of twenty four million; eight hundred thousand of them are children. Ten percent of these children are on the brink of starvation. Approximately eighty five percent are thought to be malnourished where twenty nine are severely malnourished. These numbers have increased alarmingly since the last famine in 1995, causing great discomfort in other nations. More alarming numbers is where the average daily ration per person is about six hundred calories or about one fourth of what the body requires to function and maintain itself properly. Shockingly, in some areas, people receive less.North Korea has recently released data indicating that 220,000 people have died of malnutrition-related ailments. Although this was the previous North Korean famine of 1995, recent statistics have lead the most organizations to believe that another famine may strike North Korea again, leaving many to fend for themselves. Secondly, human trafficking isvery under-rated and many peopleare not too informed by this serious matter. Human trafficking is the third largest international crime after drugs and guns; however, compared to these two crimes, human trafficking is far less informed in the media today. Only by getting informed, can people react and find a solution for human trafficking. The people in the Philippines and in the rest of the world need to be educated and constantly reminded by the media about this crime in order for the people to realise that it's not a once-in-a-while matter but in any moment, twenty seven million people are being trafficked world wide today.
